To start a job is not that bad the complications come in finding a job. Teenagers have a higher struggle with getting a job because most of them don't have experience. I started working with my dad on roofs till I was about 17 years old. When I turned 18 I started looking for a job not involved with family business. It was a big struggle because at that time there weren't many places hiring and the ones that were never gave me an answer.

I finally went to El Toro Bravo at Amory, Ms. The manager hired me and I started working on that same day. It was my first job out in public and I had never been so nervous in my life. I started out as a Cashier. I had no idea what I was doing but caught up real quick. I've been there since July of 2022 and I have learned a lot. I met new people and have even seen people that I haven't seen in years.

As a teen I can say that getting a job can be very stressful not only because it is hard but because it is something new. I can also say don't be afraid of trying and learning something new. I am about to graduate and move to another town and I am prepared for something new in my life. Maybe another restaurant, maybe a store or who knows maybe my next career.
