M3Gan: Review

Megan, the movie, is categorized as horror and thriller. It is a marvel of artificial intelligence, a life-like doll is programmed to be a child named Cady greatest companion and her parents greatest ally. Designed by a toy company robotics. Megan is able to listen, learn, and watch as she becomes a friend, teacher, playmate, and protector for the Cady.

Under intense pressure, Gemma decides to pair her Megan prototype with Cady to resolve problems, a decision that will have unimaginable consequences. Both Cady and Megan become attached to each other very quickly, with deadly results. Later into the movie Megan gets very overprotective of Cady and shows how evil and destructive she can be.

For you can see, Megan's prime directive is to protect Cady emotionally and physically. So when people hurt Cady, Megan takes it very personal and becomes more like The Terminator instead of a sweet doll. Overall the movie is fun, funny, and weird. Being that she is described as a marvel character she was created as a combination of puppetry, animation and human actor. If you like existentially scary movies with unexpected twists Megan is a highly recommended movie.
