Mental Health

Mental health is a very important issue in today’s society. There's a lot of depression and anxiety being spread all around the world. Many people do not know how to react to having poor mental health, so it leads to other things, such as not being yourself around others. When having poor mental health, it is important to take time out for yourself, and do things you love to do. For example, maybe you used to like hanging out with friends and going out to eat. Now, you just want to be alone.

Well, after a while, problems occur and things start to happen because something else might be going on that you don’t want to share out loud with anyone. You now realize that you are acting differently. When something like this is happening, it’s always good to let a guardian or a close friend know so they can try and help you or get you some help. Even if you don’t have a guardian or a close friend you trust, seeing a counselor or therapist are both good options. Talking to somebody and letting them know what is going on can help out so much because life isn’t easy and can be extremely stressful. Always remember that there is someone out there that is willing to help you face your problems in life and that you don’t need to partake in any dangerous activities to make you feel better.

Mental health should be taken very seriously because it can become overpowering. Remember, many people struggle with mental health issues and have no idea what to do or how to react. Always try to help out a friend or a stranger who might have trouble with mental health, and remember that most people are not open with their problems. So, be that friend that checks on them.

If you are dealing with mental health problems, please go and talk to a responsible adult, such as a parent, teacher, or school counselor.
